SSAT考试介绍

SSAT/ISEE考试是美国、加拿大等国私立中学的敲门砖。SAT和ISEE是美国一些独立的非盈利机构主办的两种全国性的私立中学入学考试，由美国、加拿大等国私立学校自行选用。SSAT为Secondary School Admission Test的首字母缩写，即为美国中学入学考试。ISEE是Independent School Entrance Exam的首字母缩写，即为独立学校入学考试。两种考试虽然主要都是为了中学入学，但是，目前也在私立学校5、6年级的入学审核中广泛使用。

SSAT考试创办于1957年，由位于美国新泽西州普林斯顿市的中学入学考试委员会SSATB（Secondary School Admission Test Board）命题。SSAT在全球有600多个考场。SSAT和ISEE考试内容相似，难度相同，只是考试形式有一些区别。SSAT和ISEE考试均由英文、数学和作文组成。SSAT在美加以外地区的考试，每年于11、12、1、3、4月举行，中国地区的考试地点为上海，考前四周报名截止。(本公司提供SSAT报名和测试服务,详情请直接联系本公司)在美国每年举办7次考试，在北美以外的国家和地区每年兴办5次考试。具体情况登陆SSAT官方网站： http://www.ssat.org。SSAT主要是测量学生的数学、英文程度及理解力，SSAT考试作文不计分，但会被送到报考学校的招生部门作为录取的参考。SSAT考试分为低年级（在读5-7年级的考生）和高年级（在读8-11年级的考生）两种考试。

Sample Topic: It is better to be safe than sorry.
Assignment: Do you agree or disagree with the topic statement?
Support your position with one or two specific examples from personal experience, the experience of others, current events, history, or literature.
